Creating a Bootable Ubuntu on USB drive

Posted by: phpcurious on: July 23, 2008

After purchasing my own laptop at NT Computer Mart in CyberZone, Megamall, I quickly did so many things to experiment with it. One was to create a bootable Ubuntu (Hardy Heron) on USB flash drive.

After spending few hours on google, I found UNetBootin to be solution. And then I downloaded Ubuntu Hardy Heron torrent and had an ISO file only an hour later.  It’s actually not hard to use unetbootin.

The only problem is, the BIOS on my laptop doesn’t allow booting from USB.  :(
